Going back to work after a long weekend is almost enough to break your spirit. However, since next weekend is also a long weekend I may survive. Also the weather ain't that great outside after a stunning Anniversary weekend in the City of Sails. Went to a friends wedding - it was lovely. They had a perfect day for it, although the photographer looked like he was going to pass out from heat exhaustion. Perhaps if he had run his shirt under the cold tap he wouldn't have looked so darn sweaty and it would have also cooled him down... Also, if I had know what the catholics think marriage means before I got married, I might have thought more carefully before I acted so foolishly and got married.

After that, on Sunday we hung out at the beach and then went and drank cocktails, sake and beer (a little too much in fact as we had planned to go diving on sunday, but I inconveniently forgot :S) and ate yummy japanese food at Kura. I was a little disturbed as one of our dinner companions was incessantly licking her lips over dinner, she had either had too much of something (I don't know what, but if that's all it did, and that was the only outward manifestation, I'm glad I didn't have any!) or she was giving me the glad eye.

Finding Kotiro

Wednesday, January 25, 2006

I'm bored at work today, not because I don't have plenty to do mind... Instead I am sitting here daydreaming about where I would like to go when we do our big trip. I'm thinking Australia, do do some diving with the dolphins etc, Thailand, Malaysia (I have dreamed about sipadan island since seeing aquanerds' photos. After that, I'm thinking of heading up through Dubai to Cairo and on to Dahab for some more diving in the red sea. I have heard amazing things about it.

Soccer tonight has been cancelled because of the rain. I'm not sad about it. I'm feeling too lethargic to go running around!

I was going to write about my weekend today, but everything paled in comparison when I read the saddest thing I have heard this year. I hadn't come across Pal until I read that he had passed away. It makes me so sad, so I am dedicating this post to pal. Goodbye Pal

Run and play with the other critters Pal.

OK, so now I start

Maybe I should set myself a reminder to actually write something on my blog sometimes. Anyways, I'm going to make it a retrospective new years resolution to keep a blog....

So far this year I have managed to get married and go diving. Not much but it has been fun. Now I'm back to work...
