It's finally happened, it's finally happened. I'm slightly mad!

And quoting Queen songs on blog titles is really sad I know.

But, the point of it is this:

the has accepted a job offer.
we are leaving.
he is going to be a sad london lawyer that never ever sees me.
going to thailand on honeymoon.
we move out this weekend.
i have to leave the cats behind and i'm going to cry.
i won't have cats to keep me company when the boy is working.
again.
hopefully leaving at the beginning of june.
i have handed in my notice at work.
blah blah blah.
surely there's another point.

Ok, so it's more like the points of it are these, but you get the drift. We are actually going to live in London for a while. hurrah.

Can't wait to see Squeak and Mr Squeak and meet Baby Squeak who is making an entrance in only a matter of weeks! yay!

Soon we might even brew a baby grublet of our own! ;)

Update

So there's not much going on in my life at the moment. We're in a state of flux waiting for various firms in the UK to sort their shit out. There are now two offers, although the second remains to be heard as they want to do it in person. Hopefully it's as good as, if not better than, the previous one as that might give some bargaining power. Although if it's not as good as then at least he already has bargaining power with the other one! As the agent says "Well done, mate. Now you're in the driver's seat". They're 'mates' (of course he is in Australia, so it was bound to happen). I asked whether he was having kittens or a conniption about the offer coming in (the guy can see $$$$$$$$$$$$). Si said 'connipshittens'. Three great things in one. Conniptions, shit and kittens. Ah, fun times.
The way Dooce talks about life with Leta makes me look forward to having kids even more than I already do.

Lost the remote for my car immobiliser over the weekend. It's infuriating to have to wait to start the car until I've been through the rigmarole of flashing the light x number of times then turning the ignition on and off again and more flashing. If I was in trouble and someone was chasing me and had to get the car started in a hurry then I would be better off ringing a taxi and telling whoever was chasing me to just hold on a second, or perhaps talk with them about what their problem is. Perhaps we could sort it out some other way until the taxi arrives?
