Nico took his first few wobbly steps today. Very few. but very cute and very proud of himself!

Bad Romance

Had a great day today - dropped Finn off at his Nana's at around 9.30-10 and then went and had coffee with a friend, followed by taking Nico to see Simon. Then had a lovely lunch with Lani at GPK - so good! Then went for a walk in the park with Rosa and Arlo and then picked up Finn. Went to see Toby and Kiran next and the boys played so nicely with each other the whole time. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole day! Hurrah, makes the car problems of the last few days sting a bit less...

Oooooooh Kaaaaay

So, having said I'll resurrect this I should probably post something other than that statement. I think there are three such statements in my recent blog posts, so I've obviously not done so well in the past!

Today was a bit of a shambles. Yesterday we had to pay $2000 to get our stupid, crappy car fixed, so now at least we have a stupid, crappy car that goes. However, this morning got the exhaust leak checked out and of course it needed more work, so had to leave it and walked to playcentre to do part of the working bee job. It was nice to see everyone that we've been missing over the school holidays! We hung out there for a while and I did a bit of tidying. Thankfully Sally is going to bring the leaf-vac in on Sat so shouldn't take me quite so much time to tidy up the rest of the leaves. Then afterwards when we were walking up to Ponsonby to go return our library books we saw Sally in her house and went in for a visit, during which my kids tore her place apart while hers slept. Terrific. Still, was nice to hang out. Then we went to the library and then had to walk back to the garage to get the car - another $200 down the toilet.

Tomorrow is the last day of the holidays, Finn is going to his Nana for the day and Nico and I will amuse ourselves. I will bring out the cameras and start to upload some pics etc

A bit late...

But thought I might resurrect this for what I have heard referred to as zombie day (or Easter to the rest of you) where the dead come to life (and we eat chocolate critters). So, a bit late for easter, but was totally inspired by a friend and thought it would be a lovely thing if I could update this now and then with stories and suchlike from a life with two strange boys. Lovely, beautiful and awesome, but strange and sometimes a pain in my arse.

so, here's hoping I remember that I have resurrected this and post now and again! :)
